Visual Impact

The proposed turbines would be 125m high at their tallest point, referred to as 'blade tip' or 'tip height'.

Even though some of the turbines would be visible from certain areas, even to the very tip of the highest blade they would be appreciably lower than the car park at Whiteway Hill, the nearest part of the Purbeck Ridge four miles away.

In comparison to other local structures, the turbines would be approximately the same maximum height as the 'Bournemouth Eye', and are of a similar height to the former Poole Power Station chimneys.
