In the battle against climate change, Dorset has set formal targets for renewable energy in the region. Purbeck District Council has stated its commitment to encouraging renewable energy sources. As part of this plan, Infinergy is proposing Masters Pit, East Stoke as a possible wind farm site. The project has been named Alaska Wind Farm.

March 2008 we submitted the Planning Application, along with an Environmental Statement, to Purbeck District Council (PDC). To download a PDF copy of our Non Technical Summary, click here.

The original proposal has been modified and a new planning application will be submitted to Purbeck District Council shortly.
